Corporate Advisory Summer Analyst Program: U.S.
The US Corporate Advisory Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program that will provide you with the opportunity to work with experienced professionals within the Corporate Advisory group, obtain insight on the work and culture of the Firm, and build marketable skills. Summer Analysts will also have the opportunity to contribute as valued members of the team to which they are assigned.
To ensure that Summer Analysts receive the best possible experience, we supplement on-the-job experience with a comprehensive training curriculum. The curriculum is designed to provide professional skills, industry knowledge and learning opportunities that will enable you to succeed. The curriculum includes:
- Management-led overviews
- Presentations by internal and external experts on relevant business topics
- Teambuilding opportunities
Department Placement Process
Placement decisions are made based on a number of factors including business needs, the skill sets you demonstrated during the interview process, as well as the preferences you indicated during the recruitment process.
Placements are made into the following departments:
- Compliance
- Audit
- Capital Markets Contracts - Legal
Feedback And Review Process
Summer analysts are evaluated by department managers at both the midway point and at the end of the summer program. Additionally, summer analysts will receive on-going feedback during the summer. At the end of the summer, based on your performance, you may be offered an opportunity to join our full-time analyst program.
Mentorship Programs
As a summer analyst, you are assigned a mentor from Corporate Advisory who will provide you with guidance and support throughout the summer. The mentor’s responsibility is to help familiarize you with Corporate Advisory’s role within Lehman Brothers, with the Firm, as a whole. Your mentor will also assist you in building a network and will provide general advice and guidance throughout your summer.
