Finance Analyst Program: Europe
The Europe Finance analyst program is a three-year rotational program which offers you the opportunity to experience a range of different finance disciplines while studying for your professional accounting qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). This program provides an excellent platform for you to become a specialist upon its completion.
Rotation And Group Placement Process
The Finance program offers three one-year placements in different areas within the Finance Division, as well as a formalized in-house training program in conjunction with BPP and CIMA. Rotations are in Product Control, Financial Control, Infrastructure, Management Reporting and Treasury. We offer you as broad of a range of finance disciplines as possible through your three placements. The program is overseen by a dedicated administrator and is sponsored by a senior member of the Finance management team.

Advancement Process And Timeline
The analyst program lasts for three years; however analysts with outstanding performance and examination results may be promoted to associate two years after joining the program.
Mobility Opportunities
Lehman Brothers supports mobility across divisions and regions. There are many opportunities within the Finance Division and throughout Lehman Brothers for individuals who are looking to be challenged in a different area of the Firm at the end of the program.
Training
We provide in-house CIMA training conducted by BPP, an external provider. This training is split into three levels:
- Business.
- Managerial.
- Top CIMA.
Exam sittings take place in May and November. Due to the intensive study requirement for these exams, you are entitled to take a study leave from the program before examinations.
