The following guidelines will help you decide which positions may be appropriate for you.
Students And Recent Graduates
If Lehman Brothers is hosting an event at your school, we encourage you to make every effort to attend. Recruiting events are the best way to meet us, learn about the Firm and receive guidance on how to apply for positions. Most events are listed with university career services offices, student organizations and in school newspapers.
Our summer analyst and summer associate programs are our primary source for hiring full-time analysts and associates. Therefore, if you are interested in joining us full time, we strongly encourage you to apply for the summer program.
Both programs take place during the summer prior to your final year of school (either undergraduate or advanced degree level). If you demonstrate distinctive performance during your summer with us, you are likely to receive an offer to join us full time after graduation.
In addition, we offer a number of analyst internships at different times during the year in the U.S., Europe and Asia to accommodate those students whose academic calendar limits their ability to apply for the summer program. Internship length and areas of opportunity depend on our business needs at the time.
Other Internship Opportunities
We offer a variety of analyst internship programs for undergraduate students looking to gain exposure to the financial services industry.
The summer analyst program currently has the largest intake overall of the internship programs. If you are interested in the program, please see the description of our summer analyst programs.
In addition to the summer programs, we offer a limited number of analyst internships at different times in the year at our U.S., Europe and Asia offices to accommodate those students whose academic calendar or requirements limit their ability to apply for the summer program. The length of the internships and the divisions in which they exist depend on our business needs at the time.
In Europe, we also offer a number of regional analyst internships for our offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan/Rome, Paris, Tel Aviv and Zurich. These internships provide key support to our regional hubs and additional opportunities for students based in different countries.
Our Europe Information Technology Division group also offers a twelve-month industrial placement program for penultimate year students who require a twelve-month work placement to meet the requirements for their degree. Please see the IT Industrial Placement Program for more information.
In the US and Asia, we offer a limited number of internships beyond those offered in the summer. These opportunities tend to be made available to students with differing academic calendars.
