Our Finance Group

The Treasury team is divided into nine primary areas:

Global Creditor Relations (CR)
Global Creditor Relations is responsible for sourcing all secured and unsecured credit for the Firm and keeping creditors briefed on the Firm's business strategy, liquidity management, credit and market risk policies, strategic initiatives and key performance data.
Global Network Management (NWM)
Global Network Management is responsible for establishing service agreements with service providers to support the Firm's global business needs (i.e. clearance and custody, trustee and administrative, etc.).
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for capital planning and management, together with managing the rating agency relationships.
Global Asset and Liability Management (ALM)
Global Asset and Liability Management is responsible for managing and reporting the funding requirements of the Firm using the "funding framework." The team ensures that the company maintains sufficient liquid financial resources to fund its balance sheet and meet business requirements in all market environments at the lowest possible cost.
Global Corporate Interest (GCI)
Global Corporate Interest manages the allocation and recapture of funding expenses to business units, and seeks to understand the impact of hedges and non-dollar financing activity on funding expense.
Global Cash and Collateral Management (CCM)
Global Cash and Collateral Management manages the Firm's intraday liquidity. The team is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and accuracy of funding projections, and ensuring funding availability for secured and unsecured financing requirements in the business units. The team also identifies areas of weakness that may benefit from improvements in efficiency and scalability, and they offer resources and solutions when needed.
Lehman Brothers Commercial Bank (LBCB)
Lehman Brothers Commercial Bank facilitates the funding of bank-eligible assets, including commercial real estate, warehouse lines of credit and interest rate products, by providing reliable, low-cost, long-term, diversified funding sources.
Lehman Brothers Bankhaus AG (LBBAG)
Lehman Brothers Bankhaus AG (LBBAG) is a licensed Commercial Bank incorporated under the German Stock Corporation Act and regulated by the German Federal Regulator, the BaFin. LBBAG Participates in the German Depositors Protection Fund (GDPF), a private insurance fund which insures deposits from non-bank customers. LBBAG has branches in London and Milan that are subject to local regulatory supervision.

LBK Facilitates the funding of bank eligible assets (Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Warehouse Lines of Credit, and C&I Loans) by providing reliable, low cost, long-term, and diversified funding sources.
