Money Market Portfolio
| Invests in corporate debt obligations, asset-backed securities, variable rate obligations, U.S. government and agency securities, repurchase agreements, and securities of U.S. and foreign banks. |

Government Portfolio
| Invests in securities that have been issued by the U.S. government or its agencies, or securities whose principal or interest has been guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies. Also invests in repurchase agreements relating to such securities. |

Government Reserves Portfolio
| Invests in securities that have been issued by the U.S. government or its agencies, or securities whose principal or interest has been guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies. Is not intended for investment in repurchase agreements and is generally exempt from state taxes. |

Treasury Portfolio
| Invests in U.S. treasuries and repurchase agreements. |

Treasury Reserves Portfolio
| Invests in U.S. treasuries only. Is not intended for investment in repurchase agreements. |

Tax-Exempt Portfolio
| Typically invests at least 80% of net assets in high-quality, short-term municipal securities, the interest on which is not a preference item for federal alternative minimum tax purposes. |

Municipal Portfolio
| Typically invests at least 80% of net assets in high-quality, short-term municipal securities from U.S. issuers. Although the portfolio's dividends are generally exempt from federal income tax, all or some may be a tax preference item for purposes of the federal alternative minimum tax. |
